I recently captured graduation portraits at Stonehill College, where I also graduated as an undergraduate back in 2023, which made the shoot extra meaningful.
My good friend Amy from the Ruckus Dance Club reached out to me for the session. It was a fun challenge to photograph both Amy and Chris together, as well as individual shots that showcased their unique personalities. Balancing group and solo poses allowed me to capture the special bond they share while celebrating their achievements.
Some quick tips I kept in mind during the shoot: encouraging them to stand straight with good posture to look confident, reminding them to check for anything in their teeth or on their face, and guiding them through a variety of poses to keep the photos fresh and natural. These small details really make a difference in graduation portraits.
