This was a milestone for me, my very first time filming a wedding. While I’ve photographed weddings before, stepping into the role of a videographer was a whole new experience. I had the opportunity to assist on a shoot at the stunning Roger Williams Botanical Garden, and from the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be special.
Lush greenery, vibrant florals, and soft natural light made the setting feel like a dream. I was there as an assistant, but I soaked up every moment, learning how to capture emotion in motion, anticipate meaningful shots, and work as a team to tell the story of the day.
It was both exciting and humbling to witness such a beautiful celebration through a new lens. This experience confirmed how much I love storytelling through video, and it was the beginning of something I want to keep growing in.
